Privacy notice

This notice describes local records, account sync and subscription billing. The billing page shows whether new purchases are available.

Website activity

To understand how visitors reach Vali and start using it, we record campaign labels from links, page openings, recording starts, first successful saves and views of the offer after the free weekly report. A random browser identifier stored on your device links these events; signed-in events can also be associated with your account. Events contain identifiers and timestamps, not your work entry text, email, income or payment card information. These records stay in Vali's first-party services and are not sent to advertising networks. Pending events may retry when your connection returns. Contact us to request deletion of account-linked activity.

Your work records

Vali uses browser storage for local drafts and recovery copies. If you sign in and use cloud sync, Vali stores your account-linked workspace and records in Supabase so that you can access synced data on the website and iOS app with the same account. Local edits that have not successfully synced may not appear on another device. You can export a backup from the website's Settings. Clearing local storage can remove local-only or unsynced data.

Sign-in email and account deletion

Vali uses Supabase authentication and Resend to deliver sign-in codes to the email address you provide. Never share your sign-in code. You can request account deletion from Account in the iOS app or contact the support email below. Deletion removes your Vali account and associated cloud records; exported backups and copies on your own devices must be managed separately.

Payments

Paddle processes subscription payments as merchant of record. You provide payment, billing address and relevant tax information directly to Paddle's checkout. Vali does not store your full payment card number or security code. Paddle sends verified payment and subscription events to Vali; we store the account binding, customer and subscription identifiers, transaction and discount references, status and access dates needed to provide access, manage billing and prevent duplicate purchases.

For signed-in subscription management, Vali may create a temporary Paddle portal link for your account's subscription. This link is not stored in your work records or browser storage. Paddle also offers management links in purchase receipts and its email login flow. Payment data is handled under Paddle's privacy notice. Your work entry content is not sent to Paddle for billing.
